Dye & Durham today announces Version 26 of the Affinity Legal Practice Management System, the largest technology and platform modernisation in Affinity’s history. This release delivers significant performance, security and user experience improvements alongside new CRM, due diligence and integration capabilities. Driven extensively by customer feedback from over 300 firms across APAC, Version 26 reinforces Affinity as the leading platform for firms seeking both the control of on-premises software and the flexibility to evolve to meet client and market needs.
FUTURE‑READY FOUNDATION
At the centre of Version 26 is Affinity’s move to a fully 64-bit architecture. In practical terms, it means improved speed, stability and maintainability, support for larger matters and datasets, and stronger alignment with modern IT environments and enhanced security expectations. Coupled with a broader refresh of Affinity’s underlying components and frameworks, the result is a more responsive user experience for fee earners and support teams, and a platform positioned to support ongoing innovation in modern legal environments.
SUPPORTING REVENUE GROWTH WITH MODERN CRM
Version 26 also introduces all‑new integration with RedView CRM, bringing modern, purpose‑built legal CRM workflows into the Affinity environment. The integration connects enhanced enquiry capture, targeted engagement, deeper referral and pipeline tracking, and visibility into campaign ROI with matter work in Affinity, helping firms actively explore and scale revenue growth initiatives for both new and existing clients without forcing lawyers to switch away from their core systems.
FASTER DUE DILIGENCE AND AML/CTF TRANCHE 2 TOOLS
To further support operational and compliance workflows, Version 26 includes an enhanced Unity™ Search experience available out‑of‑the‑box, with one‑click launch, faster background data syncing and a simplified user experience to help users complete searches sooner. This provides faster access to due diligence, identity and compliance tools via Affinity, supporting higher‑volume, time‑sensitive work including AML/CTF Tranche 2 compliance tools.
A COMMITMENT TO CLIENT-LED DEVELOPMENT
Commenting on the release, Carl Olson, Managing Director for Dye & Durham APAC noted “Affinity has always been built with the enthusiastic input of mature legal practices with complex operational requirements, and it continues to evolve that way. Affinity customers have invested in configuration and fine-tuning processes over many years, enabling them to deliver unique value to their clients. Version 26 protects that investment while modernising the technology foundation, and it reflects a clear commitment from Dye & Durham to ongoing active, customer‑led development of Affinity.”
Zoe Brewster, Head of Account Management at Dye & Durham APAC added “Our customers told us clearly what they needed from the next generation of Affinity, and this release reflects that feedback in a very real way. It delivers a platform for speed, stability and security, together with modern business development capabilities via the new RedView CRM integration that help firms work faster, stay secure, compliant and in control, and to grow with confidence.”
Affinity is a mature, deeply configurable practice management system, designed to support the operational complexity of established legal firms. It is the only modern and actively developed on‑premises practice management system in the market, with Version 26 setting a new baseline for performance, integration and platform longevity.
