Dye & Durham Terrain Enhances Renewable Energy Project Planning with Renewmap Integration

As the demand for renewable energy projects grows, Dye & Durham is pleased to announce that Terrain, the leading map-based search platform in the Property Planning Industry, now integrates with RenewMap, Australia’s premier platform for renewable energy project tracking.

RenewMap is a SaaS platform which provides up to date information on more than 2,500 renewable energy projects around the country. Users can navigate the platform via an interactive map to visualise the energy sector, then filter and select projects by technology, status, developer, geographic location.

Through seamless integration with Terrain, customers now gain access to essential property information directly from state land registries. This includes ownership details, and any property interests like caveats, easements, or restrictions, directly linked to renewable energy projects. With Terrain’s streamlined workflow solutions, including bulk title ordering, accessing property information for renewable projects is quicker and more efficient than ever.

Murray Walter, Terrain’s General Manager explained the integration was a natural extension of the growth in the renewable industry.

“Terrain currently serves more than 20 Renewable Energy companies across the country and we have experienced exponential growth in this sector over the past two years. The integration with RenewMap makes perfect sense to leverage the capabilities of both platforms giving customers access to the project and property information critical during the economic assessment of new and current projects.”

Renewmap Director Alex Thompson is excited about the value for customers delivered by the integration.

“The integration of the RenewMap and Terrain platforms will provide valuable insights into energy projects across Australia and their underlying property information and land use. More than ever, having access to accurate and up-to-date information is critical in the rapidly expanding renewable energy industry. This integration is exciting for RenewMap customers, who can now leverage Dye & Durham’s expertise in the property sector and their market-leading Terrain platform.

RenewMap and Terrain customers will be able to streamline investigations of property details by overlaying RenewMap’s energy project boundary data directly in Terrain. This powerful integration will drive increased efficiencies and better-informed decision-making for our customers when exploring energy project land use.”
